1. Parkland Update:

Overdue Fines

Due to the Government restrictions put in place this last week we have decided to postpone reinstating over due fines. This was originally set for January 4th but will be revaluated in the new year, after the lock down.

Due Dates

At this time, Parkland will not be extending due dates for library materials. However, if libraries are interested in extending due date, you can do this by setting a “special loan” period. For more information view instructions on the support site blog.

Libby App Promotion Materials

For those of you looking for social graphics and resources to promote the new Libby app, you can find several graphics on the Q: Drive. More promotional materials can be found at the Overdrive Resource Center.

Bodo Community Public Library

As mentioned in earlier communications, the library in Bodo will be ceasing operations permanently as of December 31st

2021 Public Library Survey and 2020 Annual Report Webinars – January 13-27

The PLSB will be offering webinars again in January to go over the 2021 Public Library Survey and 2020 Annual Report. No registration is required, and they will all cover the same content so you only need to attend one. They are scheduled for the following times:

Musicians Peter and Mary tell a story of how Santa delivers presents in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. This video can be viewed on their website or their YouTube channel.
