Call for Covid-19 resources for The Library Toolshed
The Library Toolshed (librarytoolshed.ca) seeks library developed resources for training and programming related to the Covid-19 Pandemic; specifically, resources that relate to library shutdowns and reopening related to the pandemic.
The Toolshed is a collaborative initiative supported by The Alberta Library, The Association of BC Public Library Directors, Saskatchewan’s Multitype Library Board and the Manitoba Public Library Services Branch. It is a place of community knowledge and experience. It is where library staff share, access, and comment on training, instructional and programming resources created by library staff.
CIP grant update
The Government of Alberta announced major changes to the CIP Project-Based grant, which has been put on hold while funds are reallocated to support non-profit operational needs in the province.

Government of Alberta’s COVID-19 Response website is regularly updated with information for Alberta’s business community, non-profit and service agencies, and citizens. The site includes Alberta BizConnect, Alberta’s relaunch strategy, COVID-19 info for Albertans, education and child-care, economic supports, and more.
