We are pleased to announce that our 4th webinar episode has launched. Our newest episode “Managing Meetings” is available for library boards to utilize for professional development. This webinar includes a conversation with Lorisia MacLeod, a librarian in the process of obtaining a professional parliamentarian designation and Jenn Anheliger an experienced library trustee, President of ALTA and a municipal councillor. Lorisia and Jenn discuss processes and mechanisms to equip library board trustees with the skills needed to run effective and efficient board meetings.
This webinar is a great exercise in professional development for boards to complete as a group and short enough to be added to your regular board agenda package, or for individual trustees who want to expand their governance knowledge.
