August 1 , 2023

Thank you to everyone who made time to join us for our 2023.  We appreciate your dedication to our organization and your willingness to dedicate your time to the business of ALTA

We have heard loud and clear through our membership the need for in person learning and networking opportunities.  Opportunities that are cost effective and more accessible for our members.  We are EXCITED to announce:  In partnership with Stronger Together Conference ALTA will be offering an In-Person Trustee Development Day on November 9, 2023 at the River Cree Resort and Casino in Enoch, AB (West Edmonton).

Ian McCormack will be joining ALTA to run a morning session to provide guidance, advice, expertise and resources that empower our trustees to practice good governance with confidence.   As a strong library supporter and previous board member, Ian seeks to support trustees through a broad range of experience and insight.  Our afternoon sessions will create opportunities for trustees to discuss important topics to them while networking and learning from fellow trustees across the province.
