As library boards work through their budget requests, we encourage trustees to view our webinar: “Should I vote for this budget” .This webinar discusses the intricacies of library budgets.
We would like to thank our current members for their dedication to ALTA. We understand that membership to ALTA is a commitment of resources and understand that library boards across the region are struggling with unpredictable and uncertain budgeting. Your commitment to your communities and the professional development for trustees is phenomenal.
Continue to keep an eye out for our upcoming webinars and coffee chats. Our ALTA board value opportunities to connect fellow trustees and learn and support one another. As we continue to provide services, digital spaces, and collections of educational material for library trustees across the province, we commit to continuing to evolve and excel as we take meaningful steps to providing our members with valuable services.
