Alberta Library Conference

The Alberta Library Conference (ALC) is Alberta’s largest provincial library conference, hosted annually by the Library Association of Alberta (LAA) and the Alberta Library Trustees Association (ALTA). Held every year in picturesque Jasper, Alberta, this conference provides library staff, trustees, and students with exceptional opportunities for professional development and social networking.

Yellowhead Regional Library Conference

Each year since 2010, YRL has held an annual conference with the suffix “The Power of Libraries.” They believe that libraries do have power; to be champions of information and learning, to foster creativity and innovation, and to be centres of a community that are available and welcoming. The conference is about coming together to share our stories and experiences.

Northern Lights Library Conference

The Northern Lights Library System (NLLS) is one part of the seven regional library systems across Alberta, helping deliver comprehensive, efficient library services to all Albertans, regardless of where they live.

Parkland Regional Library Conference

Parkland Regional Library is a network of 49 public libraries across central Alberta, serving over 200,000 residents. Library staff, board members, municipal delegates, library volunteers, and Friends are encouraged to attend.

Rural Libraries Conference

Peace Library System, the host of the conference, is a regional library system located in Grande Prairie and every year, over 150 delegates from school and public libraries in northern Alberta, northern British Columbia, and the Northwest Territories attend Peace Library System’s Rural Libraries Conference.
