The Alberta Library Conference (ALC) is Alberta’s largest provincial library conference, hosted annually by the Library Association of Alberta (LAA) and the Alberta Library Trustees Association (ALTA). Held every year in picturesque Jasper, Alberta, this conference provides library staff, trustees, and students with exceptional opportunities for professional development and social networking.

Each year since 2010, YRL has held an annual conference with the suffix “The Power of Libraries.” They believe that libraries do have power; to be champions of information and learning, to foster creativity and innovation, and to be centres of a community that are available and welcoming.
